Hello !

I am Chandra Shekhar Goit and currently I am working as an assistant professor at Saitama University, Japan. My major field of research is Foundations and Earthquake engineering, with focus on pile dynamics. However, I am more than happy to discuss  on a broad range of topics related to geotechnical earthquake engineering. Information on my research interests and my publications are available under Research link on the left menu. Do feel free to write to me if you are interested and want to know further about my research.

Besides my core research, I am also actively involved in the analysis and design of tunnels and earth retaining structures.

On the personal side, in free time, I enjoy(ed) playing cricket and hiking (not at the same time though!).
