I am Chandra Shekhar Goit and I am an assistant professor at Saitama University, Japan under the Department of Civil and Environment Engineering. My major field of research and teaching is foundations and earthquake engineering, with focus on the soil-structure interaction. Details on my research group can be found here: Earthquake Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Group.
Information on my research interests and publications are available under link for research. Do feel free to write to me if you are interested and want to know further about my ongoing, past, or future research works. Though my main interest is foundation and earthquake engineering, I am more than happy to discuss on a broad range of topics related to geotechnical earthquake engineering.
On the personal side, in free time, I enjoy(ed) playing cricket and hiking (not at the same time though!).
